We went with some friends to Mt. Hood to go sledding today. The mountains are so beautiful covered in so much snow! We all had so much fun, we will have to go back tomorrow...no really.

Christmas Eve
We started the day off at Biscuits for breakfast...we were so full we didn't need to eat until dinner with the P's.
It was such a great night, delicious food, good friends, singing and jammies. After the party we came home and got the kiddos to bed and got ready for Christmas morning.

Christmas Party
We had our ward Christmas party this morning, it was so fun. We were all in jammies, got to eat sweet rolls and hot cocoa, sing Christmas songs, watch Christmas movies and see Santa! What could be better? I was in charge of taking the photos with Santa for everyone, it was fun to see the different reactions of the kids, it wasn't that long ago bubby was screaming in this Santa's face. Good times.

No Girls Allowed
We had some friends over for a few hours yesterday, which meant 4 girls to 2 boys. Bubby and his friend were getting frustrated that the girls weren't doing what they wanted, so he came in the office and got some paper. He kept saying, "no girls allowed" as he was making it. I didn't see it until last night when we were putting the kids to bed, we all got a good laugh.
O Christmas Tree
As soon as the kids got home from school we went to get our Christmas tree at Furrow Farm. We drove back to the U-cut section and found it within minutes. Russ got to cutting and had it down quick.
With my Mama in town we were able to get the lights and ornaments up quick, it was decorated that night and we've been enjoying sight and smell of the tree ever since.
Weekend
Last weekend we were spoiled with a grandparent visit for Jenna's baptism. Grandma Ruth brought the kids their Christmas gifts, she made quilts for each of them. They are so snuggly and soft they have been using them ever since. Thank you Grandma!
Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Larry came out to see us. We got to do a little shopping and decorating of the Christmas tree. It was so much fun to have them out, we wish it could have been for much longer!
Baptism
Jenna was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints a week ago. Our parents were able to come out and be with us too, what a treat!
The weekend was so special, Jenna was so sweet and looked so beautiful.
After the baptism we got together with our framily for dinner at our home. The whole weekend was so perfect and we are so grateful for our friends and family who support and love us.

Happy Birthday Jenna Eve!
We celebrated Jenna's birthday on Saturday with some of her friends. A couple months ago I found out the High School was going to be putting on the play The Little Mermaid, and one of the shows was on her birthday. I asked her if she wanted to go with her friends, she thought it was a great idea and so did I.
The play was so much fun with people we recognized in it, they did a fantastic job! The girls all loved it and talked about it the rest of the time.
When we got home Jenna got to blow out her candles on her turtle cupcakes she helped me make.
When it comes to working in the kitchen, cooking and baking she is always wanting to help. I love that about her.
After some gifts the girls played with the new game she got and then it was time to go.
Saturday was all about birthdays, after cleaning up we got to go help Kenzie and Sam celebrate their birthdays at the Mt Scott Rec Center. Here is Jenna on the rope swing.
Such a fun day!

Frog and Toad
Bubby and I got to go to Jenna's Frog and Toad play in her classroom Friday. Jenna was narrator 1, a pretty big part. She did a wonderful job with the whole thing, she said her part without any mistakes. We were so proud of her! After the plays we got to stay and have lunch with her.

Halloween!
Halloween was a busy day! I went shopping, cleaned out 7 pumpkins, volunteered in Jaida's class, carved said pumpkins, threw some dinner at the kids, dressed for trunk or treat, trick or treated with the Yee's, came home to finally light pumpkins!
Only one casualty, my toe! Pretty sure it's broken, after running upstairs to find more costume supplies before trunk or treat I ran upstairs and bashed my toe into the step. Ouch!
All in all it was a crazy, mostly fun day!
Logan Is 5!
Every family home evening during "announcements" Logan lets us all know he can't wait until it's his birthday...talk about pressure! It turned out to be so much fun for everyone! I borrowed his awesome costume from a friend who made it last year and it was perfect. We went with the mummy theme with his costume, pinata and cake.
Of course the pinata was a "hit", they all got to try it with a blindfold then without so they could really get a hold of that thing!
Jaida and Jenna were excellent helpers, they helped with decorating pumpkins and playing "pin the bow tie on the skeleton".
We had pumpkin shaped pizza for dinner and cake and ice cream for dessert.
