Jaida is 10!

 I wanted to add some pictures of Jaida throughout the years. It was so fun to go through all the old photos from Michigan until now. What a joy Jaida has been in our lives, so sweet and good.

 

We took the kids out for Jaida's birthday, she wanted to go to Big Al's for bowling and video games then out to dinner. So happy this girl is ours!

Head Wound

Ever since Logan had stitches its been fun to take him places and hear everyone's stories about their stitches. Today at target the checker and the guy in front of us started talking about their wounds after they found out about the "head on the bricks" incident.

4 Stitches!

Logan fell off the couch and hit his head on the corner of the brick fireplace. I heard the thud and ran over, he covered it with his hand and started to cry. I picked him up and took him to the kitchen to put a cloth on it. Mackenzie was here and very worried about him, she was a big helper holding the bandage on while I wrapped it up.

I got a good giggle when she told me she had to swallow her puke after seeing his wound. Haha!

We loaded up and the girls got off the bus just in time to hop in the van. We went to the ER and got right back to a room. It took a while for the doc to show up but it didn't take long when he got there. Logan was a big boy, hardly cried at all when they were working on him. When they were done he was all smiles! Very proud of him for keeping still and being strong!

Salt Lake

Just finished this for a client.

Sledding

We were supposed to go sledding last weekend but the weather wasn't so great, we ended up going yesterday and it was perfect! We went with friends and framily. A few hours of sledding, sunshine, hot chocolate and good friends made it such a fun day!

Downtown

The kids didn't have school today so we decided to ride the tram. It started out foggy but turned into a beautiful day!

Snow

We finally got some snow, more like slush...but I'll take it.

Christmas Faves

 

This is when we finally came out of the clouds above Pendleton going into the Blue Mountains on our drive out.  It was a beautiful site to see the blue sky and sun after a white knuckle drive for a little stretch. We were blessed with great driving conditions the rest of the way.

 

We made a stop at my friends parents house in Fruitland, it was good to get out and stretch for a bit...but we were only 1/2 way.

 These aren't in order, the girls and Logan in their Christmas jammies from Grandma.  They love them!

 A trip to the dino museum, spent a lot of time in this area trying out all the notions of motion.

 I love this picture of my parents playing table tennis, I love the memory of laughing most of all.

 Of course Mom had the house decked out with all sorts of decos, loved how festive it was.

 Went to the Riverwoods in Provo and listened to live music and danced.

I love this photo of Mom holding Weston by one of the fire pits.  Fun night.

 Love this shot of Russ getting his "minute to win it" game on at the Lowry party. He won the game by catching 22 pencils at once.

I love this picture of Matt closely guarding the cinnamon rolls! Such a fun night, thanks for hosting Matt and Sara!

 

  

A stop at the carpet store always provides a good time for the kids. Jenna won the hanging contest.

 Russ and I came back to his parents house after doing some shopping and Jaida had made a nativity scene out of playdough. She even took the picture, loved it!

 Russ' attempt to ruin the photo, but I love his playful smile...could be because he'd just had his favorite Texas ice cream, Blue Bell!

 The drive back, headed toward the 1-84 split, loved the clouds over the mountain range.  Again, totally blessed with great driving conditions.

By far the best part of the trip was when Logan had to use the facilities while driving through the Blue Mountains. We got off the nearest rest stop which happened to have SNOW! Something we were lacking severely in Utah. Russ took Logan to the restroom and I grabbed the sled and gloves, we spent a good 20 minutes sledding!

 So, so good to be with family! Thank you for making our trip so much fun!

Lowry Family Party

We made it into town in time for the Lowry party at Matt and Sara's house. We had a good time playing games, eating and visiting with family we haven't seen in years. It was a huge success and we were so happy to see everyone again!
