BBQ

We had our first cul-de-sac BBQ last night, lots of good food and meeting some new people. We took a picture of the kids, so many of them we love it.

Afterward we went for a little night swim just to make sure the kids were worn out. Ha! Here's to new and not so new neighbors!

Kitchen

The backsplash is up! The before and after I can't get over. I made this bench/stool this week so the kids wouldn't have to share the two kitchen stools between them. I am liking the pop of color it brings to the space.

First Day of School

 I can't believe another summer is over! Of course this has been a very busy summer for us, it just doesn't seem like time is ever going to slow down.  

The girls started off with a bit of a rough morning, the first day of school nerves were getting to them.  But, as you can see they were ready for school when they saw their friends and their great teachers.

PIR Race Day

 Russ' friend Steven races his VW Bug each year at the Portland International Speedway, he has taken the kids before but I had never been until yesterday.  It was a perfect day for racing, zero crowds, lots of fun cars and the kids even got to get in and sit in one. It was a fun day to spend together.

Kids Bath

Painted walls and cabinet, took out mirror medicine cabinets/light, installed new vinyl floor and new toilet, counter and light.
