Halloween!

We had an awesome Halloween! Lots of trunk or treating and lots more trick or treating around the neighborhood.
Jaida was a vampire girl, Jenna a 50s biker chick and Logan a ninja. I was Flo from Progressive and Big Russ was Mayhem from Allstate (at least last week he dressed up for a neighbor party, but not on Halloween).

This year we put our fire pit in the middle of the culdesac and a bunch of us sat around with our buckets of candy to pass to the trick or treaters. It was such a perfect night weather wise and great company. Have we said we love our neighbors? Well, we do. A lot.

Lincoln City

After the funeral my parents drove back with us as we were supposed to meet in Lincoln city that next weekend anyway. The coast was perfect, even great weather!

My dad likes projects so I kept him busy! Maybe a little too busy! He worked on electrical, adding lights and switches. He did our counter and sinks in the master bathroom, added plugs and more switches. I had a hard time keeping up with him!

Clean Up

While there for the funeral we all worked together to get some things cleaned out. Let's just say we got a lot done, and a weight has been lifted.

Grandpa Dennis' Funeral

Russ' dad passed away the end of September and we were able to attend the funeral. It was a great service and I was so proud of Russ speaking and dedicating the grave. Of course, it was fun to see family, to laugh and cry together.
We will miss having Grandpa Dennis here. Until we meet again.

Logan's Birthday!

This year was a family party, he said he wanted to go to Out of This World to play. I didn't think it would be fun to just go by ourselves so we invited a few friends before they went to Kindergarten.
We had cupcakes after the bus and carved pumpkins. After dinner with friends we had more cupcakes.
We love this little boy so much, it is a joy to be his Mom. He is just plain good. Love you, Bub!
