Cabinet Week

Last Sunday night we got the keys to our new house! Of course I couldn't sleep that night thinking of all the things that needed to happen. Monday I took the kids over and we started scrubbing the house. That night I took down all the cabinet doors in the kitchen, laundry and hall closet upstairs.
Tuesday my new neighbor and bestie came over to help me sand the doors. While they sanded I cut and nailed on the wood trim to the flat doors. With their help I was able to get them all done, all 50!
Jenna and I filled in nail holes and sanded the next day. I borrowed my friends paint sprayer and started spraying with them all on the floor. After one pass of that my back wasn't having it. I made a little spray booth with my saw horses and a 1x4 and sprayed while Jenna and Big Russ brought the doors to me and set them back down to dry. With 2 coats of primer on both sides, 2 coats of top coat and 50 doors...I figure I sprayed about 375 times.
We love how they turned out, and are so excited to put them up tomorrow. I'll post before and afters...when it's all done.

It wasn't just cabinet week, I ripped out shelves, mirrors in bathrooms, painted front door, patched walls, pulled up flooring in master bath...the list goes on! We are making progress and will be ready for floors soon.
