I was invited to a monster party at my friend Heidi's house on Saturday. We had the best time making our little monsters from the pro who taught us. We each got to come up with our own creations and I think they all turned out so cute! I made mine into a little toothpick holder, or a tiny vase. I just wish I could have made it 10 times bigger!
Heidi had me make a cake for the party, I wanted it to match her monster cookie jar she's had. It turned out pretty good, although I'd change a lot of things I did for it. I made the fondant (Thursday), baked the cakes (Friday) and put it all together Saturday morning. I was a nervous wreck until it was on her counter. Such a fun party!

You never cease to amaze me with your talents! Seriously......can you share a little? What are the monsters made out of? That would be a great party!
The monsters are made out of clay, the artist will take them back to his studio and glaze and fire them for us. We get them back in a few weeks.
Those monsters are awesome! And good job on the cake.
